Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about buying liquidation pallets, auctions, manifests, pickup, freight, product condition and shopping with All American Liquidators.
What is All American Liquidators?
All American Liquidators is a Houston-based liquidation marketplace offering palletized retail inventory to resellers, retailers and other buyers. Our inventory may include overstock, excess merchandise, shelf pulls, closeouts and qualifying retail returns.
Who can purchase pallets from All American Liquidators?
Our inventory is available to individual buyers, resellers, online sellers, flea-market vendors, discount stores, retailers and other businesses. You do not need to operate a large retail company to purchase a pallet.
Where is All American Liquidators located?
We are based in Houston, Texas. Eligible orders can be collected from our Houston operation, while freight can also be arranged for customers elsewhere in the United States.
Do you have a physical location?
Yes. We operate from the Houston area and provide physical pickup for qualifying pallet orders. Pickup instructions are provided after an order is confirmed.
Where does your inventory come from?
We source inventory through established and reputable retail liquidation channels. Merchandise may originate from major retailers, distribution networks and recognized retail brands. The exact origin varies by lot.
What retailers can the merchandise originate from?
Depending on the lot, merchandise may originate from retail environments such as Walmart, Amazon, The Home Depot, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Marshalls, Champs Sports, Foot Locker, Nike Outlet, adidas Outlet and other established retailers. Retailer names identify merchandise origin and do not necessarily imply an official partnership or affiliation.
Are your products authentic?
We focus on merchandise sourced through reputable retail and liquidation channels. We do not knowingly sell counterfeit products. Product origin and available lot information are reviewed before merchandise is offered for sale.
Are the products new?
Our inventory is focused on new merchandise. Lots may originate from overstock, shelf pulls, closeouts, excess goods or qualifying return channels. Individual packaging condition can vary, so buyers should always review the lot description and photos.
Do you inspect the inventory before selling it?
Yes. We review inventory and available lot information before merchandise is offered for sale. Our goal is to identify merchandise that meets our selling standards and provide buyers with useful information before they purchase.
What is overstock?
Overstock is merchandise that a retailer has in greater quantities than it currently needs. The products may be completely new but are moved out of the regular retail supply chain to free warehouse or store capacity.
What are shelf pulls?
Shelf pulls are products removed from retail shelves because of seasonal changes, merchandising updates, discontinued assortments, packaging changes or other inventory decisions. Shelf pulls are not automatically defective merchandise.
What is a liquidation pallet?
A liquidation pallet is a bulk lot of merchandise consolidated onto one or more pallets and sold together rather than individually. Pallet buying allows buyers to acquire larger quantities of retail inventory at significantly different economics than purchasing each item at consumer retail prices.
Are the photos the exact products I will receive?
Product pages should state whether photographs show the exact pallet or representative inventory. Buyers should use the listing details, photos and manifest together when evaluating a lot.
What does MSRP mean?
MSRP stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. On our listings, estimated retail or MSRP represents the approximate combined retail value of the merchandise in the lot based on available product information. It is not a guarantee of resale value.
What is a pallet manifest?
A manifest is a document containing information about the merchandise in a pallet. Depending on the lot, it can include item descriptions, quantities, categories, estimated retail values, conditions and other product-level details.
Does every pallet include a manifest?
Manifest availability varies by lot. If a manifest is available, the product listing will indicate this. Some pallets may be sold based on the available photographs and lot information instead.
How do I download a manifest?
When a manifest is available, sign in to your customer account and open the product page. The manifest section will provide a download option for signed-in customers.
Why do I need to sign in to download a manifest?
We require customer sign-in for manifest access so detailed inventory information is made available to verified store users and buyers. Creating an account also allows you to participate in eligible auctions.
Are manifest quantities guaranteed?
Buyers should review any notes included with the manifest. When a listing describes quantities or values as estimated, those figures should be treated as estimates. The specific lot information shown on the product page governs the listing.
How do pallet auctions work?
Eligible pallet listings are offered for a defined bidding period. The listing displays the current bid, bidding activity and scheduled closing time. Signed-in customers can submit qualifying bids during the auction.
Do I need an account to place a bid?
Yes. Customers must sign in before submitting a bid. This helps us associate auction activity with a verified customer account.
What is a starting bid?
The starting bid is the initial amount at which bidding begins for an auction lot. Subsequent bids may need to meet a specified minimum increment.
What is a bid increment?
A bid increment is the minimum amount by which a new bid must exceed the current qualifying bid. The required increment can differ between auction listings.
Where can I see the current bid?
The current bid is displayed directly on eligible auction listings and may also appear on inventory collection cards.
How do I know how many bids have been placed?
Eligible auction pages display the verified bid count associated with the lot.
When does an auction close?
The scheduled end date and countdown are displayed on the auction listing. Bids should be submitted before the auction closes.
What happens if I win an auction?
The winning buyer will receive instructions regarding payment and fulfillment. Orders should be paid and pickup or freight arrangements completed within the timeframes communicated with the winning bidder.
Can I cancel a bid after I place it?
Bids should be submitted only when you intend to purchase the lot. If you make an error when submitting a bid, contact our team immediately. Whether a bid can be corrected or withdrawn depends on the circumstances and auction status.
Can I pick up my pallet in Houston?
Yes. Local pickup is available for eligible orders from our Houston-area operation. Once your order is confirmed, our team will provide pickup instructions and coordinate an appointment when required.
Do you ship pallets outside of Texas?
Yes. Nationwide commercial freight can be arranged for many orders within the United States. Freight availability and cost depend on the destination, pallet dimensions, weight and shipment requirements.
How much does freight shipping cost?
Freight pricing varies based on destination, shipment size, weight, access requirements and carrier rates. Contact our team if you need help understanding freight options for a specific pallet.
Can I arrange my own freight carrier?
Depending on the order, customers may be able to coordinate their own freight carrier. Contact us before arranging transportation so pickup requirements can be confirmed.
Do you ship individual products?
Our primary business is pallet and bulk liquidation inventory. Products within a pallet are generally sold together as one lot rather than shipped individually.
How heavy is a typical pallet?
Pallet weight varies significantly by category and merchandise. Some pallets may weigh several hundred pounds or more. Where available, estimated weight information is shown on the lot details or can be confirmed with our team.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods are shown during checkout or communicated for qualifying auction purchases. Accepted methods may depend on order size and transaction type.
When do I pay for an auction I win?
Winning bidders will receive payment instructions after the auction. Payment should be completed within the timeframe provided to secure the lot.
Do pallet prices include freight?
Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, the pallet purchase price and freight charges should be treated separately. Shipping costs depend on the destination and shipment requirements.
Do you charge sales tax?
Applicable taxes may be calculated based on the order, customer information and relevant tax requirements. Qualified resale customers may be able to provide appropriate resale documentation where permitted.
Can businesses purchase for resale?
Yes. Many of our customers purchase inventory specifically for resale through online marketplaces, retail stores, discount shops, flea markets and other sales channels.
Do I need an account to purchase?
Account requirements can depend on how you are purchasing. An account is required for features such as auction bidding and downloading protected pallet manifests.
How do I create an account?
Use the sign-in or customer account option in the website header. From there, follow the Shopify customer account process to access your account.
Why should I create an account?
A customer account gives you access to account-restricted features such as auction participation and downloadable manifests when available.
Can I inspect a pallet before purchasing?
Availability of in-person inspection can depend on the lot and warehouse schedule. Contact our team regarding a specific pallet before visiting the warehouse.
How often do you add new pallets?
Inventory changes regularly as new liquidation lots become available. Check the website frequently for newly listed pallets and auctions.
Can I buy more than one pallet?
Yes. Buyers can purchase multiple available pallets, subject to inventory availability and any limitations shown on individual listings.
Do you sell truckloads?
Bulk and truckload opportunities may be available depending on current inventory. Contact our team if you are interested in larger-volume purchasing.
Can you help me choose a pallet?
Our team can answer questions about available lot information, categories, manifests and fulfillment. The ultimate purchasing and resale decision remains the buyer's responsibility.
