How liquidation works

Quality retail inventory.
A smarter way to buy.

Liquidation gives businesses and resellers access to genuine retail merchandise that major stores no longer need in their regular inventory. This can include excess stock, overstock, shelf pulls and customer returns. We source these goods through established retail liquidation channels, inspect our inventory and make it available to buyers by the pallet.

Understanding liquidation

Why perfectly good retail inventory becomes available.

Large retailers constantly move enormous amounts of merchandise. New product launches, seasonal changes, changing floor plans and fluctuations in demand can leave stores and distribution networks with more inventory than they need.

Instead of keeping excess merchandise indefinitely, retailers and their authorized liquidation channels move this inventory in bulk. That creates an opportunity for pallet buyers, resellers and businesses to purchase merchandise at prices substantially below traditional retail.

Liquidation does not automatically mean damaged merchandise. A significant portion of inventory can come from overstock, excess inventory, shelf pulls, discontinued assortments and other merchandise that simply needs to be moved out of a retailer's regular supply chain.

Where the opportunity comes from Retail inventory moves quickly
01
Retailer has excess inventory

Overstock, seasonal changes and changing product assortments create surplus merchandise.

02

Merchandise is moved in bulk instead of remaining in the retailer's regular inventory network.

03
We acquire pallet inventory

We source lots from reputable retail and liquidation channels.

04
You buy below traditional retail

Buyers gain access to inventory with strong resale potential without purchasing at normal consumer pricing.

Our quality standard

We don't simply buy a pallet and list it.

The quality of the inventory matters just as much as the price. We review the merchandise we offer and focus on goods that meet our standards before they are made available to customers.

✓
New merchandise

Our inventory is focused on new goods rather than used consumer merchandise.

✓
Condition reviewed

Inventory is reviewed before it is offered for sale.

✓
Product information verified

We review available product and lot information so listings can accurately communicate what buyers are purchasing.

✓
No knowingly damaged merchandise

Merchandise that does not meet our quality standard is not knowingly represented as sellable new inventory.

Common inventory types

Not every liquidation pallet has the same story.

Overstock

New merchandise that a retailer ordered in greater quantities than it ultimately needed.

Excess Inventory

Merchandise being cleared from a retailer's supply chain to make room for newer products or changing assortments.

Shelf Pulls

Merchandise removed from retail shelves because of assortment, seasonal or merchandising changes.

Returns

Products returned through retail channels. Lots offered by All American Liquidators are reviewed against our inventory standards before being listed.
